If you have children, you have probably heard about the Diaper Genie. The Litter Genie is a very similar concept for cat litter and waste removal. You simply drop the waste into the top of the bin, close the lid, and then pull back the divider. When you open the lid, the waste is below the divider, thus minimizing the odor. It saves you from having to make a trip outside to the dumpster each day. In fact, on the website, it says that it can hold up to 14 days of waste!
I have only had the Litter Genie for a week, so I have not attempted to use the included cutting tool to cut the bag for replacement. I did watch the how-to video on their website, so I think it will be easy enough. I have noticed less odor and the huge plus is that my kids love to clean out the litter box now!
