The Plunge

Pin It I did it, I took the plunge. I told my employee that I knew her "secret". She said she needed to talk to me and I fully expected her to come out with it. So when she didn't bring it up, I had to do it.

I have to tell you, it was like a weight was lifted off my shoulders! I have been stressed out for the past 3-4 weeks about this uncontrollable situation. I do not have a "poker face" and don't do well pretending. I just feel free! Today she commented that I am back to my old self and I definitely feel like my old self. I am still not going to ask her much about her personal life and am going to draw a more distinct line between boss and friend, but whew!

Now I didn't mention that she turned in her 30 day notice, so I can now stress about hiring a new employee! I'll keep you posted...
