I recently received a Colgate Optic White Kit from Influenster to sample and review. The kit included a tooth brush, a whitening pen, coupons, and Optic White toothpaste.
First of all, the toothpaste is EXCELLENT! I love the flavor and it makes my teeth feel so clean afterwards. Even if I should choose not to purchase another whitening kit, I will be purchasing this toothpaste.
The toothbrush is also a great product. I have issues with toothbrushes. Most of the time the toothbrush heads are too big and I can't get to the sides of my back teeth. Not the case with this toothbrush. The bristles are firm enough to get the job done, but soft enough not to make my gums hurt.
The whitening pen fits snugly into the bottom of the toothbrush (you can see this in my video demo below).
It takes only a couple of minutes to put the whitening cream onto the teeth. Two clicks on the top and two clicks for the bottom. I try and smile REALLY big afterwards to allow the cream to adhere to my teeth and not smear all over my lips. (I didn't demo this part for obvious reasons).
As for my review: I have pretty white teeth already mostly due to being confined to Invisalign for the last year and a half. My teeth are exposed to so much less, in terms of dark beverages. I also brush several times a day in order to put my Invisalign back in after eating or drinking - so my teeth have been a little spoiled lately. I do think my canines are a little off white and so I really tried to focus on them. I have to say that I do notice a slight difference and it's only been a week. I plan to continue using the kit and then to purchase a full size of the toothpaste because it is just that good.
