The Love of Coffee

Pin It Okay, so my girls and I are going back and forth this morning saying "I love you", "I love you too," "I love you more," etc. Then my 3 year old asks her 7 year old sister, "how much does mommy love us?" To which the 7 year old responds, "more than she loves coffee, and that's A LOT, right mom?" Is that a sign that I drink too much coffee?!

Maybe for Lent, I'll give up coffee and see how that goes. It is, after all, only 40 days, right? Problem is, I just got an espresso/latte machine for Christmas and I LOVE love LOVE it. I make coffee in the morning (when I have time - which is not often enough) and on the other days, I visit my favorite local coffee shop, The Coffee Corner. I wouldn't say I'm addicted to coffee as I drink decaf most of the time.  Plus, I get my daily dose of calcium when I drink a latte....

I do like coffee a latte (ha ha - pun intended), but it doesn't hold a candle to the love I have for my girls--this was my response to the "right, mom" question from above.
