Pin It Yes, I know that it is now already the second full week of January and I'm only now getting around to publishing a post on New Year's Resolutions. I'd like to tell you that it was my strategy to get resolutions back on your minds since studies show that many people have already started to back off on their resolutions. In fact, according to one site, only about 8% of people stick to their resolutions. But in actuality, I am just slow getting my post out.

Do you set goals or resolutions each year? If so, do you stick to them? I usually set them, but I don't always talk about it. That way if I don't stick to them, no one knows but me. Turns out, this is very common and one of the key reasons for failure to meet resolutions! So I'll share with you my top 5 resolutions for 2012 and that way you can keep me accountable. First though, I want to share with you some helpful articles and resources on resolutions and goal setting.

From Fashion and Beauty Blogger, Jaimi Brooks, check here for her top beauty resolutions

Self Magazine's article about keeping your goals or resolutions. It's a great article that helps set you up for success!

Fashion Resolutions? Glamour Magazine has their top 10 here.

Make yourself "happier and healthier" in 2012 like "Eat Like Me" Blogger Sarah-Jane Bedwell who organizes her goals/resolutions into categories: mind, body, and spirit.

Vital Juice has an inspiring list of New Year's Resolution that include wellness, fitness, and overall well being. Check them out here.

As for my goals/resolutions for 2012, I'll list my top 5 and then I'll try and report back on my progress!

1) Eat more whole grains
2) Run a Half Marathon
3) Pray more
4) Curb negative venting by focusing on the positive things that happened in my day/week. (Power of Positive Thinking) :-)
5) Keep a cleaner, more organized house

Happy New Year!
Meg
